About the Role:
The Lion of Judah Early Learning Centers is seeking enthusiastic Summer Camp Counselors to join our vibrant team in Windsor Mill, MD. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage children in a fun and educational summer camp environment. If you love working with kids and want to make a difference, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging camp activities that promote learning and creativity.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times.
- Encourage positive social interactions and teamwork among campers.
- Assist with daily camp operations and logistics.
- Provide support and guidance to campers in various activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding camper progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized camp environment.
- Participate in staff training and team meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children in a camp or educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Passion for child development and a positive, energetic demeanor.
- Flexibility to work various shifts during the summer camp season.
- Background check clearance is required prior to employment.
