About the Role:
Join our vibrant team at The Lion of Judah Early Learning Centers as a Preschool Teacher! You will play a crucial role in nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning in a supportive and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
- Engage children in hands-on activities and interactive play to enhance learning experiences.
- Assess and monitor children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to create a cohesive teaching approach.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are accessible and safe.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s development and classroom activities.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- 90hrs in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early learning standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.
- Creative, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a passion for teaching.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Background check clearance required prior to employment.
