About the Role:
Join The Lion of Judah Early Learning Centers as a Preschool Teacher Assistant and make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to support our dedicated educators in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for preschoolers in Catonsville, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Supervise and engage children during classroom and outdoor play.
- Support the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress.
- Participate in training and professional development sessions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Background check clearance required.
- Positive attitude and a nurturing demeanor.
