About the Role:
Join The Lion of Judah Early Learning Centers as a Preschool Assistant Teacher and make a difference in young children's lives! We are seeking passionate individuals who are excited to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our little ones in Windsor Mill, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Supervise and engage children during playtime and structured activities.
- Support children's social and emotional development through positive interactions.
- Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about children's progress.
- Help prepare materials and resources for classroom activities.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Encourage creativity and curiosity in children through hands-on learning experiences.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDA or relevant coursework preferred.
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills and a positive demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Passion for nurturing and inspiring young minds.
- Background check clearance required.
